By National Jeweler: The 8.52-carat rough diamond found last week at the Crater of Diamonds State Park* in Murfreesboro, Arkansas by a visitor from Colorado. She found her gem after only 20 minutes of searching. The diamond is described as being “clear white.” It is “stunning, sparkling with a metallic shine, and appears to be an unbroken, capsule-shaped crystal,” park officials said.
